Lionel Andrés Messi is a famous football player of Futbol Club Barcelona. People have given the name of "Leo Messi", this is an abreviature of his orginal name.

Leo Messi was born on 24th of July of 1987 in Rosario, Argentina. He plays in a football team since he was seven years old. When he was 13, FCB contacted with his parents and Leo came to Barcelona to play in FCB's team. However, he didn't begin to become famous until 2005. After four years, he won for four consectuvie times the "Gold Ball" and won it again in 2015 and 2019. But he hasn't won the Gold Ball only, he got 6 times the "Gold Boot".

Leo Messi has won a lots of awards in his career, so we could think that he's one of the best football players around the world. Nowadays, he continues playing like captain in the Futbol Club Barcelona and in the Argentina's Selection.
